Even I, your inimitable Wiz, learned something this past week and while not earth shattering, it could save you copious quantities of cash.
Okay, this week I have to take a “quick turn around” flight, out one day and back the next. Search as I might, I couldn’t find anything reasonable even though airlines have relaxed the Saturday night stay requirement.
On a whim, as if inspired by the spirit of Merlin, I looked at two one way tickets. Amazingly, I saved over $100, and even though the flights were not on the same carrier, they were in the same alliance so full mileage!
I don’t know about you, but I’ll spend 5 minutes to save $100!
